How Does God Know It's Me Praying
Hi Father,
After I said my prayers last night I asked my dad how when I'm praying there's got to be at least a million-zillion other people praying at the same time. How does God know what I'm saying and how does he hear just me and know it’s me praying? He told me that was a great question and said I should ask you. Thanks for your answer Father.

Lucas,
It is understandably difficult to grasp how God can hear all of our prayers at the same time and sort them out. We know that we are unable to do such things so it is hard to see how it is possible. However, we must remember that we are judging God by our limited standards. All things are possible with God. We believe that God created the world. We don't understand how he did it but we believe he did. We believe that God became man in Jesus of Nazareth. We don't know how he did it but we believe he did. We believe that bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Christ. We don't know how it happens but we believe it. Likewise, Jesus tells us to pray to our Father in Heaven. We don't know how it works but we believe it. While all these things are impossible for humans they are not impossible for God.
